Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Julian grew up among diverse populations as well as wild coastlines and the outdoors.

In his early twenties he took a major turn in life, focusing on photography and using it to explore remote corners of the globe. Tahiti is his favorite place he’s ever been, but Namibia and Siberia both take the crown for the most remote feeling.

A specialty of his is shooting underwater, where he feels a truly surreal environment can be captured to tell a unique story. He continues to travel wherever his interests will take him.
